Raymond Munoz – Vice President, Commercial Loans, Citywide Banks

Raymond Munoz has more than 30 years of banking and finance experience. In his current position with Citywide Banks, he oversees and reviews the financial condition of smaller businesses and assists them in meeting their financial needs.

Prior to working for Citywide Banks, Munoz worked with Key Bank. As the Finance Committee chair for the board of directors of the Mental Health Center of Denver (MHCD), Munoz uses his expertise to help review the organization's finances and provide input on the budget. In addition to serving on the MHCD board, Munoz is the board chairperson for the Sabin Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MHCD, in the acquisition and management of additional residential properties. Additionally, he sits on the board for the Downtown Aurora Visual Arts, a non-profit that channels the creativity of middle school-aged children.

Munoz is a native of Pueblo, Colorado. He has one son, a teacher in the Denver Public Schools. In his spare time Munoz likes to play tennis. Additionally, he enjoys golfing, even if it is a game he claims he and his buddies do not play well. He received a B.S. in business administration from the University of Colorado. Munoz has been on the MHCD board since June 2004.
