Rina Singer Delmonico is CEO and Founder of REN Consulting, Inc. (Responding to Executive Needs). REN, Inc. is an executive consulting company specializing in Information Services and Technology. REN, Inc. specializes in IT Project and Systems Maintenance Management since 1997. REN, Inc. was named in the top 250 private owned businesses in Colorado by Colorado Biz for 2002, 2003, and 2004.
Rina Delmonico is also Executive Director for the University of Colorado at Denver’s Center for Information Technology Innovation (CITI) program. CITI has a membership of the top 30 corporate CIO’s in the State of Colorado. CIO Magazine has recognized it as one of the top programs of this kind, in the nation.
Ms. Delmonico currently serves on the Board of KBDI Channel 12, TiE-Rockies, Board of Advisors for CU Denver School of Business, Bard Center for Entrepreneurship, CU Health Sciences Center Health ILAB, and W3W3.com. She is active in the National Center of Women in IT (NCWIT) and co-chairs the Colorado Hub. She was appointed by the Governor of the State of Colorado to the Science and Technology Commission and the Information Management Commission. She is a judge for the Denver Business Journal Women in Business Awards and FIRST Robotics. She has served as an Expert Witness in various legal cases for technology businesses. She is a published Author, and played a significant role in the development and publication of the book Business Driven Information Technology: Answers to 100 Critical Questions for Every Manager, published by Stanford University Press (2003-2004). She has also served on a number of Corporate Boards for various software and hardware companies.
Ms. Delmonico earned an accelerated MBA from the University of Colorado’s Executive program and has attended several advanced programs at the Harvard Business School. Previously, she has held key management and high tech leadership positions at the following noteworthy businesses and corporations: EVP and CIO for Schwinn Cycling & Fitness, Inc.; SVP of Corporate MIS for First Data Corporation; Director of Applications Development for Johns Manville; and a long-standing, progressive career at Citicorp/Citibank where her last position was SVP/CIO of their Nevada site. She has over 33 years in the information technology industry in a wide variety of business disciplines. Ms Delmonico has received numerous awards over the years. In 1999, she received the IT Executive of the Year Award in the State of Colorado. She also has been quoted in numerous articles, and received a six-page biography write-up in CIO Magazine. She is 52 year old grandmother of two.
