El Centro de las Familias
El Centro de las Familias is a multi-cultural clinic which provides culturally competent outpatient mental health care to the Latino/Hispanic community and to the South West community in Denver.
Recovery Philosophy
With an emphasis on Spanish speaking and bilingual consumers, the El Centro staff focuses on actively engaging consumers to use the strengths of their culture, values, and existing resources for optimum recovery. Latino traditions, customs, and values are examined and integrated into the treatment process.
Program Components
The El Centro team of clinicians, social workers, case managers, nurses and psychiatrists provide appropriate, integrated services which concentrates on recovery as well as cultural understanding and respect. Services include
