Student Placements at MHCD

MHCD offers a range of student placement opportunities for community college, undergraduate, master's level and doctoral level students. Students develop cultural proficiency working with diverse populations through a broad range of multidisciplinary, community based clinical and administrative experiences.

Additionally, there is a Predoctoral Internship offered through the University of Denver Consortium. Only students from the University of Denver can be accepted into the internship. Please contact the University of Denver for additional information.

Are MHCD student placements paid?

All student placement are unpaid.

What training/orientation will I receive?

Training will vary depending on the nature of the student placement but you can expect 3-12 months of practical training and exposure to case management, group therapies, individual therapies, DAP notes, and developing care plans for your chosen population.
